Ben Lane and Liam Keane Take the Helm for Team Wales!

A new WTC cycle is officially underway, and Team Wales Warhammer 40k is thrilled to announce that our very own Ben Lane is stepping up as co-captain alongside Liam Keane!

Together, Ben and Liam bring an ambitious vision for the national team. Their goal for this cycle is simple: drive Welsh competitive 40k to new heights, foster an active, supportive training community, and offer every Welsh player a structured pathway to sharpen their skills and test themselves against top-tier competition.

The 2026 Wales Squad proudly representing Wales at the recent World Teams Championship in Belgium. Ben Lane travelled this year as the Wales' Head Coach, alongside him our very own 40k officer - Rhys Mollison-White travelled as part of the coaching team

The First Step: Battle of Britain

The season kicks off with our first official event—the Battle of Britain in Hemel Hempstead on October 10th–11th.

This event is the perfect launchpad if you are looking to:

* Represent Wales on a national stage in a team event setting.

* Get involved in team games and experience high-level competitive play.

* Level up your game with direct support and feedback from experienced players.

Whether you are actively gunning for a spot on the final 8-player WTC roster or simply want to gain valuable experience and elevate your personal play, there is a place for you in this process.
