A world balanced between ancient magic and relentless progress is beginning to slip out of alignment.
As unseen forces stir in the spaces between, ordinary people find themselves noticing what others ignore.
By the time the danger has a name, it may already be too late.
The Age of Uncertainty (dnd 5e 2014)
This game takes place in a world pulled between ancient magic and rapid progress.
In some lands, power is old and instinctive — tied to bloodlines, spirits, and forgotten traditions. In others, magic is studied, refined, and fused with invention. Great cities of light and industry rise while older forces linger beyond their reach.
Magic is common, but uneven.
Technology does not replace it — it competes with it.
And in the spaces where neither fully holds control, something else begins to stir.
The game uses the D&D 5e system, with a strong focus on roleplay, choice, and consequence. You begin as ordinary people in an extraordinary world, shaped by its tensions rather than standing above them.
Expect a story that values character decisions, discovery over exposition, and a world that reacts meaningfully to what you do. Combat exists, but it is not always the answer.
No prior setting knowledge is needed — everything important is learned through play.
Old hands and absolute beginners welcome.
