Club Membership Improvements

Before Christmas we started work on cleaning up our membership system. That work has now finished. We have 157 club members and a further 41 people who have applied online, but not yet come forwards to Luke or Alan to get their membership number. We have also simplified the behind-the-scenes processes for managing the membership list.

The club is committed to Making Membership Mean More. Being a club member already gives you the ability to vote on club matters, get discounts at our partner and on club event tickets. We also want to offer more to members on the website.

Today we have implemented some of the members only web pages that will allow us to offer more information and services in the future. These pages are described below and visible now. In addition to this first set of pages, we are also working on:

Add more to your profile - such as "Games I Play" ?
Search for members with similar interests?
List your owned games?
List locations to help with car share?
Got an idea? Let us know!

The following screenshots are taken from the desktop layout of the site. The mobile version has the same functionality but a different layout.

Members Page.

Visible only to club members, you can now search the website for other members.

Click the "Members" option on the menu bar.

This currently shows the user's avatar and information the member has chosen to share with other club members.

YOUR pages

Access your membership information by clicking the drop down arrow in the top left of the screen and choose My Account.

My Account

The club would like to encourage you to keep your profile PUBLIC. This helps other members find you. Your 'Public' Profile is only ever available to club members. It is never available to non club members.
