Who knew sheriffs were still a thing? Let alone high sheriffs?

Well, our very own Karen Hodgkinson, manager of the Daniel Owen Centre and purveyor of curly fries on Thursday evenings did!

“I only went an won a High Sheriff of Clwyd Award on Saturday for Community work at the Daniel Owen Centre!!! Very shocked as I thought the Centre had been nominated so to turn up and realise it was actually me that was nominated by the High Sheriff herself was a bit of a shock. So many very deserving people were there to receive a very well deserved Award.“
