New Director Election

We are holding an election for a new director to join the board of the club. This will bring the number on the board to five, in line with the requirement set out in the club articles of association. The new director shall be an equal partner on the board and will be instrumental in all decisions on the running of the club.

You must have been a current club member for 6 months to stand as a director. The cut off date for membership to stand is 25th August 2025. You must also not have been previously declared bankrupt, or, for any other reason, be barred from holding the office of a director of a company.

Remuneration is limited to the adoration of the unwashed masses only. If you are interested, then approach any of the current directors (Mathew, Alan, Luke or John) for more information. A very brief Summary of the role is included below.

Dates

• 25th February - Nominations for directors open

• 11th March - Nominations close, candidates announced, campaigning begins

• 25th March - Vote opens for members to vote

• 1st April - Vote closes and results announced

• 14th April - AGM Board ratifies the election results and winner legally admitted to the board

Voting will be held online for all club members, using the alternate vote mechanism as per our constitution.
