Hi everyone, voting for our new logo closed on Sunday.
And the winner is....
Dragon and Dice! Congratulations to Ben Lane for his logo concept

Commiserations to the other 5 entries.
At the bottom of the page is a breakdown of the vote and how the votes were transferred each round.
Adam's opinion and outlook on the winning entry.
This logo has a strong and immediately effective core concept, combining a dragon with both a D20 and D6 to clearly communicate a broad tabletop gaming identity. The dragon adds a layer of fantasy and regional relevance, particularly fitting for a North Wales club, while the dice establish instant recognition across TTRPGs, board games, and wargaming. The overall composition forms a cohesive silhouette and tells a clear visual story without relying on text, which is a major strength for versatility across different uses.
For the final version, the focus should be on refinement rather than reinvention. The main areas to address are visual clarity and consistency: simplifying overlapping elements, creating more separation between the dragon and dice, and unifying the illustration style… particularly the mismatch between the geometric D20 and more solid D6. Standardising line weights, reducing fine details (especially in the wings), and slightly rebalancing the composition will improve legibility at smaller sizes and in print. With these adjustments, the design can evolve into a polished, scalable logo that retains its strong identity while being more adaptable for merchandise, digital use, and long-term branding.
Moving Forward
Adam is planning to have our official main logo up and running by Monday, 20th April, at the latest. Once we have the new logo files, expect to see the website updated within a few weeks, and we will have new membership cards printed before the end of April (more details about the reissuing of the club membership cards in a separate post)
New merchandise supporting the new logo should be available for purchase within a month of Adam finalising the files. Currently, the plan is to continue using the same store and services used for our previous merchandise.
But Adam's journey has only just begun, main logo down, but many more to go.
Logos for specific sections of the club?
Once the main logo is created, it's time for the specific gaming systems. Now, a lot of the design principles outlined in the logo competition won't need to be applied when creating specific gaming ones. This should allow a lot more artistic freedom, with some systems going down a badge/patch design, while other systems being closer to a band top. Adam will reach out to each group when necessary.
